a few new tricks!

The boys have a few new tricks i thought id share!

Rubba Dub Dub Two Boys in The Tub!

Up until recently Rio has always bathed with Daddy it was their bonding time and then he got busy with work at the beginning of the year and Mommy had been working on moving up bed time so baths were happening more and more while daddy was still at work! The first few times Rio would cry and want out. So i thought hey maybe he doesn't want to be alone in the tub! WRONG i put Milo in with him a few times and he screamed because all Milo did was splash water in his face! so in the last week or so hes been really enjoying the bath and now knows its a thing he gets to do all on his own (with mommy in the room at all times ofcourse!) but now he splashes and yells and has all sorts of fun!



Milo on the other hand has been a fish since we brought him home! If mommy even goes to the bathroom to go potty and shuts the door he will run for the bathroom and then sit on the floor and cry begging for a bath! and if you don't shut the door hes in the tub before you can even see him come in the room!

Monday we were going to the playground in Ankeny and decided to take a detour over to grandma Etha's house in Polk City! She was very happy to see us! Here are some pictures from our visit.

Happy Birthday Uncle Adam!

Yesterday was a long day! Rio had speech therapy at home which went great! (no he is not talking any real words yet you will be the first to know! haha if the kid ever talks) After that was done we went to the new pet store in town to check out what they had. Rio loved the fish , and mommy and milo fell in love with the puppies. Then it was off to Grandpa Rods video store. (pics below) and then once we were done visiting there it was off to Grandpa and Grandma Heintz farm for a birthday dinner for Uncle Adam. (pics also below) Rio and Milo had a blast making a huge mess in the kitchen with cousin Kara. Then we pressed our luck and came back to town and went to walmart ... Rio was not ok with that! He was tired and ready for bed and was very unhappy the whole time we were in the store .... I never thought id be the mommy buying her 2 year old a strawberry soda to get him to stop crying in the store ... I am now that mom hahaha
